Daniel Larie

Daniel H. Larie, age 76, passed away peacefully at Lancaster Health Services in Lancaster, Wisconsin on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on December 27, 1944, to Francis and Lorraine (Hollub) Larie. Dan graduated from Lourdes High School and the University of Wisconsin Madison. He loved music and all things electronic. He served his country during the Vietnam war and received the Purple Heart.

Dan is survived by his father, Francis Larie; brother, Ken (Annette) Larie; sisters: Kathy (Darrell) McGill, Karen (Bob) Tiddens, and Kris (Jeff) Driessen; as well as many nieces, nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Larie in 2009.

There will be no formal services at this time. Private interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.

The family wishes to thank all the doctors, nurses and caregivers at Lancaster Health Services and the VA hospital in Madison for their care and support. Special thanks to Angel, Jodi, Sierra and Taylor for their compassion, respect and concern.
