Jim was united into marriage on December 29, 1960, to Virginia M. “Ginny” Roschi at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Glen Haven. Jim and his brother David worked alongside their father Eugene, on the Leamy family farm later forming Leamy Bros. Partnership. Jim was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomington and served as President of St. Mary's Parish Council. He was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor. Jim enjoyed playing cards, giving combine rides, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had a passion for music and enjoyed traveling with his wife Virginia.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 57 years, Ginny; three daughters: Theresa (Mike) Salvatore; Lisa (Ron) Mayne; Tammy Leamy; one sister: Mary Jean Kusick; one brother: David (Shirley) Leamy; 6 grandchildren: Nichole (Justin) Seippel, Jennifer (Justin) Allen, Cody (Kathy) Mayne, Matthew Salvatore, Christopher Salvatore, Rhiannon Kizewski; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
