Andrea J. Mays

Andrea Jean (nee Johnson) Mays, age 58, of Beetown, formerly of Sparta, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at her home. She was born on May 1, 1961, in Landstuhl, Germany, the daughter of Robert and Nancy (Huggett) Johnson. Andrea graduated from Sparta High School in 1979 and enlisted in the United States Army. She proudly served our country stationed in Heidelberg, Germany and Ft. Sheridan, IL. Following her honorable discharge, Andrea drove school bus for 21 years for the Highland School District in Highland, Arkansas. After her retirement, Andrea enjoyed traveling and spending time outdoors.
Survivors include her four children: Lauren (Aaron) Mick; Skylar Mays (US Army Veteran); Charlie (Carrie) Mays (US Army Veteran); 1LT Jordan Mays; her fiancé, Clayton Williams; three grandsons: Rayce Mick, Gabe and Gavin Mays; her sister, Lori Love; other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Andrea was preceded in death by her sister, Jill Danielson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory, 313 Fredrick St., Cassville, WI, with Pastor Mary Ann Floerke officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Cassville Cemetery, Cassville. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
