Barbara Ritter passed away peacefully with her husband by her side at her home in Cassville,Wisconsin, Saturday, May 1, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Born in Michigan, she moved from Texas to Cassville two years ago. Sheworked most recently as an Administrative Assistant for Steve Roberts Realty of Corpus Christi, Texas. Barbara had a particular zest for life and thoroughly enjoyed family, friends and being outdoors. She is pre-deceased by her father, Walter R. McClenaghan, her step-father, Robert A. Klein, and former husband, Bill Quint. She is survived by her husband, Terry Ritter of Cassville, Wisconsin, her mother, Shirley Klein, and sister, Susan McCrone (Thomas) both of Corpus Christi, Texas, her nieces, Kathleen Murphy (Christopher) of San Antonio, Texas, and Mary Frintz (Chad) of Anchorage, Alaska, and daughters Tracy Guderyon (Brian) of Freeport, Illinois and Colleen Polhill (Eric) of Stockton, Illinois. She is also survived by her great-nephews, Patrick and Braden, great-niece, Madeleine, grandsons, Jordan and Jerrad, and granddaughter, Alyssa. Special thanks to loyalfriends, the oncology team at University of WisconsinHospital, Madison, and the hospice team of Grant County. Memorial services were held at St. John Lutheran church, Lena, Illinois on Saturday, May 8 at 10:30 am, and at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Corpus Christi, Texas,at a time to be determined.

There will be a Memorial Fund established in Barbara's name for lung cancer research. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated. Martin Funeral Home in Cassville is serving the family.
