Brandon D. Weber

Brandon D. Weber, age 30, of Potosi, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018. He was born on September 13, 1988, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Darrel and Cathy (Retallick) Weber. Brandon graduated from Potosi High School in 2007. He furthered his education at the University of Wisconsin in Platteville, where he was a member of the TKE fraternity. Brandon enlisted with the United States Marine Corp in 2012 and faithfully served his country stationed in Hawaii. Brandon served in Afghanistan and served Embassy duty for three years in North Africa and South Africa, one year in Brussels and Columbia. Brandon was honorably discharged in June 2018. He had plans to attend Arizona State University in January of 2019. Brandon enjoyed Friday night game night with friends, wing nights, and gaming. He was a kind, generous, and giving person. Even in death Brandon was able to give to others through the gift of organ donation.
Survivors include his parents, Darrel and Cathy Weber; his sisters: Crystal Klinefelter and Sierra Weber; nephews and niece: Payton and Joshua Klinefelter and Cayden and Mia Weber; his beloved dog, Koda; aunts, uncles, cousins, his Marine family and many friends.
In addition to his paternal and maternal grandparents, Brandon was preceded in death by his uncles: Gary Boyd and Jerome Weber.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory, 1234 S Madison, Lancaster, with Pastor Mark Hoehne officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Van Buren Cemetery, Potosi. Family and friends may call on Thursday, December 13, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
