Chad Sprague

Chad E. Sprague, age 41, of Milton, formerly of Bloomington, died on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at his home. He was born on March 13, 1971, in Lancaster, the son of Gary and Dianne (Gengler) Sprague. Chad attended Bloomington and Fennimore High Schools. He married Dawn Borgwardt on October 28, 1995, in Milton. Chad was employed for many years at Stoughton Trailer. He enjoyed snowmobiling in Upper Michigan, going to the cabin in Minocqua and fishing. He also enjoyed watching and attending UFC and MMA events. Chad loved spending time with his dogs, Lucy and Chloe.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Sprague, Milton; mother, Dianne (John) Felder, Bloomington; father, Gary (Margaret) Sprague, Fennimore; a sister, Shelli (Patrick LaBarge) Sprague, Cambridge; brothers: Steven (Nicole) Sprague, Decorah, IA; Scott (Michelle) Sprague, Stoughton; Nick (Nicole) Felder, Cuba City; Mark (Michelle) Felder, Madison; Joe Felder, Bloomington; his father and mother-in-law, Dan and Deb Borgwardt, Milton; sister and brother-in-law, Dana (Donovan) Olson, Merrill; Duff Borgwardt, Milton; grandmothers, Mary Ann Baker, Bloomington; Loretta Waltz, Stitzer; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert Baker, Elgie and Jean Sprague, Lawrence and Alice Felder, John Waltz, and other relatives.

A funeral scripture service was held on Sunday, June 3, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Bloomington with Father John Meinholz officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date. Family and friends called on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Funeral Home in Bloomington is assisting the family.
