August 16, 1957 — December 1, 2019

Charles J. "Charlie" Rauch, age 62 of Cassville, WI, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 1, 2019, after a courageous battle with heart disease at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born August 16, 1957 in Lancaster, the son of Richard and Arlene (Gengler) Rauch. Charlie lived in Glen Haven until his family moved to Cassville in 1969. He attended Cassville High School. On August 6, 1994 he married Lisa M. Hall at the First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster. On August 16, 1996, on his 39th birthday, his daughter Abbey was born. He always said that she was the best birthday present he could ever receive. Charlie worked for many years at Rapid Die and Molding in Cassville, Piggly Wiggly, and later for Loudspeaker Component Corporation in Lancaster until October 2018 when he had to retire because of his health. He enjoyed cutting wood, fishing, and being outdoors. He looked forward to every July, when he would attend the Catholic family Campout in Columbus, Wisconsin. Charlie was one who hated to ask anyone for help but was always willing to help people in need. He had a heart of gold, and with his passing, Charlie became a donor to the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin.

Surviving is his loving wife, Lisa; his daughter, Abbey (Bryan Bartels) Rauch; a son, Andrew (Megan) Landon; three granddaughters: Aurora Bartels, Angel and Aubree Landon; a grandson, Ryder Landon; his mother, Arlene Rauch; his siblings: Michael (Lisa), Tom (Sharon Schiffman), and Ron Rauch, Bernice (Randy) Koelker, Theresa (Bruce) Haas, and Tammy (Clint) Lenzendorf; his mother-in-law, Delores Hall; brothers-in-law: Leonard Hall and William Fure; many nieces and nephews; and his dogs Max and Riley.
