Deb "Debby" J. Byrge

Deborah Jean Byrge (Nee Houghton) was born to eternal life on Saturday, December 26, 2020. Born to her earthly life April 7, 1950.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin Houghton and Ruth Houghton (nee Bossert).
Loving wife and “Bride” of David. Loving mother of Bradley (Erikka), and Matthew (Sheri). Further survived by her grandchildren: Leif, Savannah, and Reed. All three of which she greatly adored. Also survived by her siblings, Ruth Ann (Stephen) Kundert, Mary (Randy) Hatlen, Danny (Leah Gaye) Houghton and many nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Cassville High School in 1968 she then obtained an Associate Degree from Madison Area Technical College. Debby retired from Aurora Advocate as of April 30, 2018, where she was employed for forty-four years, with the last twenty years as a Group Lead with ACL Labs. Debby was very active with her church, Greenfield Park Lutheran Church having served on the Service Team, Assisting Minister, and Altar Care. She was an avid reader of mysteries and past additional hobbies include cross stitch, needle point, and crocheting. She also loved baking. Particularly cookies for her sons when they resided at home and Christmas cookies for her entire family at the annual Houghton Christmas get-together. She also made pies and various desserts. She loved to have our granddaughter Savannah assist from time to time. Debby was very fond of her pets, especially Reba, along with Sammy and Emily.
A private remembrance gathering was held at Greenfield Park Lutheran Church, West Allis, Wisconsin. A private burial was held on Friday, June 10, 2022, in Cassville Cemetery, Cassville, Wisconsin with Pastor Fred Reaman presiding.
