Delilia E. "Sis" Williams

Delilia E. Sis Williams, age 86, of Cassville, died on  Thursday, October 9, 2008 at  Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. She was born on November 29, 1921 in Ellenboro Township, the daughter of John and Edna (Wolf) Williams. Delilia attended school in Victory. She loved to collect dolls, play bingo and puzzles and loved to visit with people.

Delilia is survived by three brothers: Kenneth (Delores) Williams, Cassville, LeRoy (Leola) Williams, Cassville and Donald (Virginia) Williams, Lancaster; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; special cousins, Mary and Ron Dodd.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Carson (Helen) Williams; an uncle, Bert Williams and a nephew, Jack Williams.

Funeral services were held at  10:00 a.m. on  Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Martin Funeral Home in Cassville with Pastor Jim McMahon officiating. Burial was in  Greenwood  Cemetery in Platteville. Family and friends were welcomed from  4:00 p.m. until  8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13 and from  9:00 a.m. until time of services Tuesday all at the funeral home.
