Delores M. Kirschbaum

Delores M. Kirschbaum, age 86, of Bloomington, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Lancaster Health Services. She was born on August 30, 1935, in Cassville, the daughter of Fred and Cecelia (Dresen) Mumm. Delores graduated from Cassville High School. On September 14, 1954, she was united in marriage to Peter Kirschbaum at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville. After their marriage, the couple farmed and owned and operated Kirschbaum Stone, where Delores was the bookkeeper, retiring in 2008. She enjoyed quilting in her younger years, fishing, bowling, square dancing with her husband, Pete, playing cards and playing the slot machines at the casino. Delores dearly loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She was also an avid Wisconsin Badger Basketball fan. Delores was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomington.

Survivors include her loving husband, Pete; their children: Al (Ann), Martin (Janet) Kirschbaum, and Janet (Rod) Kinyon; 15 grandchildren: Kandice, Tom (Kristina), Jeremy (Brianna), Nathan, Robin (Dan), Traci (Jesse), Ryan, Dan, Nikki (Daryl), Allie (Nick), Brad, Kyle, Cody, Charlie (Megen), and Lucus; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Alvina Mumm; other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by a son, Dale; her siblings: Marcella (Harold) Vondrum; Cyril, Loren (Clara), Donald (Dorothy) Mumm, and Hilda (LaVerne) Breuer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bloomington with Father John Meinholz officiating. The funeral mass will be livestreamed on the funeral home's Facebook page. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Bloomington is assisting the family.
