James V. "Jim" Faulkner

CASSVILLE - James Vern “Jim” Faulkner, age 69, of Cassville, passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2024. He was born October 16, 1954, in Richland Center, WI., the son of George and Bonita (Cass) Faulkner. Jim graduated High School in 1972. After high school he was employed at the Richland Center Municipality Power Plant. Jim was united in marriage to Connie Osborne in 1974.  They had three children, Jesse, Jenny, and Josey, whom he was so proud of. In 1987, Jim was transferred to Wisconsin Power and Light in Cassville.  In the beginning of his career, he was a plant helper, then promoted to an auxiliary equipment operator, and finally to a turbine operator until his retirement in 2016. In 2001, James met his life partner Robin Rouse. They experienced many wonderful years together. James loved the outdoors, especially fishing and bow hunting. He also loved watching the Packers and Brewers.

James is survived by his partner of 23 years, Robin Rouse; his three children: Jesse (Susy) Faulkner, Jenny Valdivia, and Josey (Amy Otte) Faulkner; his brother, George (Evelyn) Faulkner; sisters: Charlene (Benny) Stenner and Dorothy (Al) Broaddus; Robins children: Robert (Donisha) Rouse, Katie (Nick) Hauk, Justin Rouse, and Terry (Angel) Rouse; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

James was preceded in death by his parents, George and Bonita.

A Celebration of Life for James will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at J&J Sandbar, 1110 E Amelia St., Cassville. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.
