James P. Bindell

July 21, 1946 — November 3, 2020

James P. "Jim" Bindell, Jr., age 74, of Cassville, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Jim was born on July 21, 1946, in Chicago, IL, the son of James and Betty (Nott) Bindell. Jim attended Thornton High in Harvey, IL. He was united in marriage to Dolores "Dee Dee" Beattie on August 8, 1968, in Chicago, IL. After their marriage, the couple resided in Hazel Crest, IL, where they raised their daughter and later relocated to Davenport, IA, in 1993 to be closer to family and friends. After his wife, Dee Dee passed away, Jim relocated to Cassville, WI to be closer to his daughter and two grandchildren. Jim enjoyed going to Bingo, spending time with his grandchildren, and going out to dinner. Before his passing, his favorite place to eat was J&J's Sandbar for their Saturday night prime rib. Jim also loved watching sports, his favorites included the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Stacey (Travis Ploessl) Kirschbaum; two grandchildren: Josh (Bailie Becwar) Mumm and Madison Kirschbaum. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law: Barb (Andy) Spitznas; Patricia (Steve) Beattie; Pam Beattie; and Lori (Monte) Scholl; along with nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Dee Dee Bindell and a granddaughter, Abbie Elizabeth Kirschbaum.
The family is not having services at this time; however, there will be a celebration of life in remembrance of Jim for family and friends at a later date. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.
We love you Dad/Grandpa, and we will miss you. We hope that you are at peace.
