Joyce A. Fishnick

Joyce A. Fishnick, age 71, of Cassville, died on  Friday, October 10, 2008 at her home. She was born on June 3, 1937 in Cassville Township, the daughter of Peter and Eileen (Adrian) Brinkman. Joyce married Walter D. Fishnick on February 10, 1954 in Cassville. Together they farmed on the Fishnick Family farm. She enjoyed her family and spending time with their activities.

Joyce is survived by six children: Debra (David) Ley, Chana, IL, Walter (Michele) Fishnick, Jr., Cassville, Timothy (Deb) Fishnick, Riverton, UT, Shanna Jordan, Potosi, Kyle (Karla) Fishnick, Cassville and Lori (Roger) Schauff, Cassville; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; her mother, Eileen Brinkman, Cassville; eight brothers and sisters: Gary (Carol) Brinkman, Cassville, Sandra (Gary) Adams, Cassville, Rick Brinkman, Cassville, Gwen Johnson, Bagley, Pat (Dave) Udelhoven, Soldotna, AK, Renee (Mick) Leibrfried, Potosi, Mike Brinkman and Jeff Brinkman, both of Cassville; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; her husband, Walter; a great-grandson, Nolan Fishnick and a brother-in-law, Jon Johnson.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Martin Funeral Home in Cassville with Father John Norder officiating. Burial was in Cassville Cemetery in  Cassville Township. Family and friends were welcomed from 9:00 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
