Kenneth C. Roschi

Kenneth C. Roschi, age 83 of Cassville, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. He was born April 10, 1938, the son of Charles and Helen (Berntgen) Roschi. Ken attended Bagley grade school. He enlisted in the United States Army and served stateside. On June 15, 1960, he was united in marriage to Geraldine M. "Geri" Bausch at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville. Ken worked at Farley and Letcher. He later was employed at John Deere Dubuque Tractor works in Dubuque, Iowa. Ken worked on the assembly line, retiring in 1991. He was an avid outdoorsman and liked to hunt and fish. Ken enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, and NASCAR. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville. Ken dearly loved his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving is his loving wife of 61 years: Geri; their daughters: Jeanne Roschi, Gail (Paul) Ihm and Mary (Eric) Lenz; 10 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, his siblings: Mary Lou (Jim) Roe, Virginia Leamy, Mike (Kathy) Roschi, Ann (Scott) Zenz, and Cindy (Tim) Gehde; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by a daughter: Jody; a sister: Lillian; and a brother-in-law: Jim Leamy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville, with Fr. John Meinholz officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Gockel Cemetery, Glen Haven Township. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville is assisting the family.
