Kenneth Williams

Kenneth Lee Earl Williams, age 92, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster, the son of John and Edna (Wolf) Williams. On June 12, 1950, Kenneth was united in marriage to Delores Kress at Platteville. Three children were born to this union: Rodney, Douglas, and Keevin. Kenneth worked many years on farm machinery and vehicles. He also worked road construction driving a Tourna-pull machine. Kenneth had a love for horses, restored many antique tractors, built windmills and other items from wood along with home remodeling.

Survivors include his loving wife, Delores; their children: Rodney (Sue) Williams, Cassville; Doug (Christine) Williams, Prairie du Chien; Keevin (Sonja) Williams, Cassville; three grandchildren: Nick (fianc Shana Hoffman) Williams, Hilary (Jared) Baker, and Katie Williams; four great-grandchildren: Corra, Hadley, Desmond, and Penelope; a brother, Donald (Bernadette) Williams, Lancaster; sister-in-law, Leola Williams, McGregor, IA; and a special cousin, Mary Dodd, Sauk City; other relatives and many friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Carson (Helen) and LeRoy Williams; a nephew, Jack; and a cousin, Ron Dodd.

Funeral services were on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory, 313 Fredrick St., Cassville, with Pastor Jim McMahon officiating. Burial was in Cassville Cemetery, Cassville. Family and friends called on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Cassville Rescue Squad or the Cassville Volunteer Fire Department.
