Lauralee Welchert

Lauralee M. Welchert, age 65, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully, on Monday, August 21, 2023, at UW Hospitals & Clinics in Madison.  She was born on July 31, 1958, in Madison, the daughter of Arthur and Lorraine (Arneson) Foye.  Lauralee graduated from Waunakee High School in 1977.  She moved to Lancaster in 1983 and raised her daughter, Crystal.  Lauralee loved to color, hummingbirds, a good horror movie or good book, the color purple, Christmas and the fall season.  Her favorite band was Metallica, with her favorite song being, “Unforgiven II.”

Survivors include her daughter, Crystal Eastlick; four grandchildren: Dylon Turner, Desirae Henning, Dantae Henning, and Jaidlyn Moore; her mother, Lorraine Foye; a sister, Valerie Fantegrossi; other relatives and friends.

Lauralee was preceded in death by her father, Arthur and her special friend, Raymond Keller.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lancaster.  Martin Schwartz Funeral Homes & Crematory in Lancaster is entrusted with her care.
