Lorna W. Hamilton, age 54, of Lancaster, died on Sunday, February 1, 2009, at her home in Lancaster. She was born on December 22, 1954, in Keshena, Shawano County, WI, the daughter of Hank and Roberta (Warrington) Webb. Lorna attended school at West Grant and was a member of the graduating class of 1973. On February 11, 1974, she was united in marriage to Bobby Hamilton in Kahoka, MO. After their marriage, the couple resided in the Bloomington area. Lorna moved to Dubuque, IA, where she was employed as a CNA with the Sisters of Charity and volunteered for Dubuque Hospice. Lorna loved her work. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and catering. She also enjoyed making crafts.

She is survived by her children: Jesse (Nicole) Hamilton, Bloomington; Nicole (Chris Kelz) Hamilton, Lancaster; four grandchildren: Tyson and Tavian Kelz and Owen and Eli Hamilton; her brother and sister: Joe (Bertha) Webb, Avon, CO; Janita Kleinow, Bloomington; her father, Hank Webb, Bagley and nieces and nephews.

Lorna was preceded in death by her mother, her husband, her brother, Skippy Webb and a nephew, Seth Kleinow.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, February 5, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Marian Hall, Mt. Carmel, in Dubuque, IA. Memorial services were also held on Friday, February 6, 2009, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church in Bloomington. Burial was in Nagle Cemetery, Patch Grove Township. Friends called on Friday, February 6, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Lorna W. Hamilton memorial fund was established.
