Michelle A. Raimon

PRAIRIE DU CHIEN - Michelle A. Raimon, age 55, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the comfort of her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Michelle was born on June 7, 1968, the daughter of Dennis and Terri (Doyon) Raimon.

Besides spending time with her loving family Michelle enjoyed spending time outside, doing her crossword puzzles, playing cribbage, and Chinese food. Aside from Michelle’s bright personality and huge heart she also had an ability to sense when others needed her help. She has touched many lives with her generosity and open arms and will be greatly missed by many.

Michelle is survived by her significant other John Pierce; 3 children: Bryan (Justine Foreyt) Pierce, Nicholas Pierce, and Krystal (fiancé Cimaron Mann) Pierce, her 4 grandchildren: Brielle Helt, Adalea Pierce, Brynlee Mann, and Jemma Pierce, her mother, Terri Doyon, and her brother, Michael Raimon.

In keeping with Michelle’s wishes, a Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at the Backwoods Bar & Grill events center located at 111 1st Street, McGregor, IA, 52157, anywhere between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations please be made at that time.  Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Lancaster is assisting the family.
