Nancy C. Reed

 Nancy C. (Hammill) Reed, age 64, of Platteville, formerly of Cassville died  Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Gray's Nursing Home in Platteville after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 17, 1944 the daughter of Robert and  Florence (Bausch) Reed in  Madison,  WI. Nancy married Kenneth "Butch" Hammill on June 10, 1967 and they were later divorced.

Nancy is survived by two children: Brian (Toni) Hammill, AZ and Tonya (Chris) Vosberg, Hazel Green, three very special grandchildren, Samantha Luann Vosberg, Nedallas Kenneth Hammill and Destiny Nashoni Hammill; two sisters, Mary Kay (David) Sauk and Linda Ankomeus, both of Madison.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Luann Reed.

Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father John Norder and Monsignor Charles Schluter concelebrating. Burial was held in St. Mary's  Settlement Cemetery, Town of Cassville. Family and friends were welcome from  9:00 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church. Martin Funeral Home in Cassville is serving the family.
