Patricia A. Kirschbaum

Patricia A. "Trish" Kirschbaum, age 71 of Patch Grove, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien, WI. She was born March 1, 1948 in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of Donald and Mary (Meyers) Mink. Pat graduated from West Grant High School in1966. She was employed at the Grant County Herald Independent, with Cal Lambert, in Lancaster, and then took a position with the State Medical Society in Madison. On November 30, 1968, Pat married Phillip F. "Phil" Kirschbaum at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Glen Haven. She worked for Bloomington State Bank, and then became the bookkeeper and ran the shop for Mink Plumbing & Heating in Patch Grove, until her retirement. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. Pat enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren, visiting with family and friends, ranger riding, Disney movies, and baking cookies.
Surviving is her husband, Phil; her children: Craig, Scott (Heidi) Kirschbaum, and Wendy Ashlie; grandchildren: Olivia, Ella, Kaden, Cameron, Jaxon, and Tate; her siblings: Cindy (Larry) Busch, Kim (John) Curtis, Jim (Deb) Mink, Jeff (Lisa) Mink, her brothers-in-law: Ron (Sue), Gene and Stan Kirschbaum, Joe (Cindi), Ken, and Ed (Mary) Breuer; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Donald and Mary, Pat was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Brenda Mink; and her mother-in-law, Esther (Alphonse) Breuer.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. noon at St. John's Catholic Church in Patch Grove, with Fr. John Meinholz officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Family and friends may call on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory in Bloomington is assisting the family. In lieu of plants and flowers, a Patricia A. "Trish" Kirschbaum memorial fund has been established.
