Patricia Marie Arevalo of Waddell, Arizona celebrated her independence from the flesh and was welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, July 4th 2023.
Patricia, known to most as “Mamaw” or “Momma”, was born on March 8th, 1948 in East Alton, Il. She met her soul mate and best friend Louis in the Spring of 1970. They were married on July 10th 1971 in Indiana and later moved to Arizona. In 2022 they began a new retired adventure spending their summer months in Wisconsin and winter months in Arizona. Together they raised and are survived by 6 children, Doug (married to Cathy), Jeff (married to Kym), Dala, Cris, Elena (married to Clifton) and David (married to Amanda). Since then, the family has grown with 20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
Patricia was regularly seen planting an abundance of flowers, cooking delicious meals, painting beautiful watercolors, sewing, and worshipping the Lord with help from Bill Gaither and friends. But her most memorable quality was building a home that was a sanctuary for everyone she knew. She will be remembered for her warmth, her self-sacrifice and most importantly a servant heart that was liberally expressed to everyone that was blessed to know her. So many people called her their second mom because to know her was to truly know love and acceptance. She shared so much love with those she knew and never met a stranger.
There will be two separate services held in Pat’s honor. The first will be in Wisconsin at Potosi Bible Church, 5821 US-61, Potosi, WI 53820, on Saturday, July 8 at 2:00 P.M. Her son, Pastor David Arevalo will officiate both services.
