Patricia Walsh

Patricia L. Walsh, age 84, of Cassville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. She was born on February 14, 1933, in Alton, IL, the daughter of James and Millie (Stilly) Cooper. Patricia attended school in Alton and it was there that she met Bernard "Pat" Walsh in 1963. Two children were born to this union: Marsha and Michael. The family moved to Cassville in 1966, where Patricia stayed at home and raised her family. She enjoyed being outdoors in the sunshine, sitting on her front porch, and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her children: Marsha (Chris) Pojar, Michael (Janel) Walsh, Jim Lobmaster, Linda Crockett, JR Lobmaster, her stepson, Robert "Red" Walsh, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, her four brothers and three sisters: Emory, Dale, John, and Ray Cooper, Minnie Fleaner, Mabel Green, and Oleta Jacoby.

Family greeted friends on Friday, February 17, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Martin Schwartz Funeral Home & Crematory, 313 Fredrick, Cassville. A Celebration of Life followed at the Silver Spigot Saloon, Cassville. Private family burial will be at a later date.
